Our story, our founders, and the platform driving equitable access to innovation skills worldwide.
Loki was founded on the recognition that innovation skills are increasingly essential yet unevenly distributed across society. Founders Charlie Tuxworth and Kathryn Lynch have decades of experience helping organisations innovate and transform.
They've observed firsthand how innovation capability can determine business success - yet these competencies are often locked behind expensive consultancy arrangements or academic qualifications, putting them out of reach for most people.
The name derives from Norse mythology. Loki, the god of change and transformation - frequently associated with challenging established patterns - captures the foundation's spirit: disrupting the status quo to create widespread impact through consistent, scalable innovation approaches.
"Loki brings together education, industry, government and key stakeholders to provide a common language and toolkit for innovation."
Charlie and Kathryn co-chair Innovate Island, an all-island community of innovation practitioners, advisors, and academics.
